Class Descriptions


Beginning/Intermediate Pilates Mat Series  
An introduction to the Pilates Method that establishes a strong foundation for practicing Pilates safely. All levels
Mondays 6:30 PM (This class held at The Island Yoga Space)

Intermediate/Advanced Pilates Mat Series
Moving beyond the Pilates essentials to intermediate exercises with the addition of props (overballs, foam rollers, magic circles). For the experienced student of Pilates mat. Monday Evening class is taught  in a series.
Mondays 5:30 PM (Held at The Island Yoga Space)


Yoga & Core 
A fusion class combining yoga asana with core-work from Pilates and other practices. Sun Salutations, standing poses and seated stretches follow a series of mat exercises to connect to the center and find the breath. 
All levels/injury free
Tuesdays 9:30-10:55 AM

Dynamic Flow Yoga 
A classic yoga practice in the Ashtanga tradition. Sun Salutations, standing poses, twists and backbends with moving sequences (vinyasa) to keep the prana flowing! Class may also include pranayama, mantra and meditation. Intermediate level/ Injury free
Wednesdays 5:30-6:55 PM


Studio Group Pilates
Small group training with the professional studio equipment;  2 Studio Reformers, Cadillac, &  Split-Pedal Chair. Now with 2 Orbits, too! Each student works off an individualized workout program, with instruction and inspiration from Christy

Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00,  Thursdays 9:30 AM, Saturdays  9:30


Yoga Foundations **
This deliberate paced class is great for those just beginning their 'yoga journey' as well as those who desire a refreshing and deep practice. 


Barre/Core Fitness **
One of the newest trends in fitness since Pilates made it big in the 1990's, this class uses movements from a ballet barre sequence for legs and hips, light weights for arm toning, core-work from Pilates and deep stretches from yoga. All levels (injury free)
